Dear Pier Family, 11/1/17

My name is Bill Lohman and I am Jim McCaslin’s friend & power of attorney, plus brother of Jim & Ken. Jim wanted to come to the visitation and express his condolences in person but there are no handicapped vans available to rent from the service we always have used. They have offices in Springfield, Peoria, & Champaign but all of their vans are in use.

I had lunch with Viola and another of his staff a few years ago when Jim & I were in town. He tells me that her son worked & trained for my brother Jim at the plumbing shop for a time.

Jim lives at Lewis Memorial Christian Village on the west side of Springfield where he moved four years ago when he had to be placed on a feeding tube. In general he is in fairly good health and keeps up on Hillsboro news with the paper. In addition one of the aides at Lewis named Derek is from Hillsboro.

Again he so wished to have been there and offers his prayers to you all.

Sincerely

Bill Lohman
