Linda Lou Marley, 76, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at 2:49 p.m. in Memorial Hospital, Springfield, IL. Visitation for Mrs. Marley will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL. After visitation cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services at this time.
Mrs. Marley was born on February 15, 1939, to the late Irene M. Compton. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, IL and worked as a cutter at DeMoulin's in Greenville, IL. Mrs. Marley loved to visit local wineries and go shopping. She was a faithful volunteer for the Montgomery County Cancer Association. Mrs. Marley lived her entire life in the Donnellson, IL and Hillsboro, IL areas. She married Bernard Kaufman, and they later divorced. She married Patrick "Pat" Marley on August 24, 1980, in Hillsboro, IL, and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Marley is survived by two daughters, Malissa Kaufman (Companion Richard Horner) of Highland, IL and Heather Marley (Companion Joe Rhoades) of Hillsboro, IL.
Memorials may be given to the Montgomery County Cancer Association.
