Kenneth Raymond DeVries, 65, of Riverside, IL passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Loyola University Hospital, Chicago, IL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. Karl Wellnitz, Pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Hillsboro, IL will be officiating.
Mr. DeVries was born on October 15, 1949, to the late Raymond and Doris A. (Barham) DeVries. During his lifetime he also lived in Mt. Olive, IL; Hillsboro, IL and Springfield, IL.
Survivors include two uncles, Mike (wife Eugina) Barham, Thayer, IL and Jerry (wife Rita) Barham, Coal City, IL.
Mr. DeVries was preceded in death by his parents and his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Florence Barham.
