Our sincere sympathy the the family on your loss. Herman was a good friend during my graduate days at SIUC. He attended our wedding in 1968. Unfortunately, my last visit with him in Carbondale was several years ago. He had a wonderful sense of humor and we were fortunate to consider him a good friend.

Good bye my friend. I can't help but think of all the fun times back in the day. The laughs we had on our breaks while you worked at C.R. Nail and I at The Shirley Shop. I thank you for your friendship and the many calls over the years-you will be missed. Many blessings to you and your family-rest in peace.
