Hazel Marie Warf, 94, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at 9:10 p.m. at Montgomery Nursing & Rehab Center, Taylor Springs, IL. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro, IL. The Very Rev. Father James L. Neuman, V.F. will celebrate mass. Burial will be in Cress Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.
Mrs. Warf was born on December 7, 1921, in Gillespie, IL, to the late George F. and Hazel E. (Halpin) Garrett. She married Fred T. Warf in May of 1959, in Hillsboro, IL. He preceded her in death in 1967. Mrs. Warf was a homemaker and cleaned houses for area residents.
Mrs. Warf is survived by two nieces, Tina Claridge of San Diego, CA and Vickie Harrison of Arnold, MO. She is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Leonard Garrett, and two sisters, Florence Claridge and Berniece Garrett.
Memorials may be given to the Montgomery County Cancer Association.
