Doris E. Traylor, 86, of Hillsboro, IL passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:05 a.m. at Montgomery Nursing & Rehab Center in Taylor Springs, IL. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Harry Kirk will officiate. Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery in rural Hillsboro, IL. Mrs. Traylor was born on December 11, 1928, in Rockford, IL, to the late Elbert R. "Bill" & Mildred (McClain) Green. She is a graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL. She married Darrell L. Traylor on December 13, 1949. He preceded in death on December 31, 2013. She was a Farm Wife and also worked on the milk route with her husband Darrell. Mrs. Traylor was a member of Waveland Presbyterian Church in rural Hillsboro, IL. Survivors include her children, Kathleen Beckom of Springfield, IL; Elbert (wife Christina) Traylor of Lincoln, NE & Steve (wife Nancy) Traylor of Hillsboro, IL; grandchildren, Todd Butler, Chad Butler, Sean Traylor & Randi Traylor; great granddaughters, Jordan Butler & Abbie Butler; great great granddaughter, Braelynn; sisters, Pat Pennington of Springfield, IL; Evelyn Hinton of Hillsboro, IL; Janette Furness of Hillsboro, IL & Geraldine Harms of Hillsboro, IL. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Fenton. Memorials are suggested to Waveland Presbyterian Church or Alzheimer's Association.
