Yvonne Louise Lash

     Yvonne Louise Lash, age 85, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 4:00 a.m. at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Hillsboro, Illinois. Graveside Service will be held on December 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Asbury Cemetery in Raymond, Illinois. Friends may arrive by 10:45 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Illinois to process to Asbury Cemetery. Tony Lash, son of Mrs. Lash, will officiate.

     Yvonne was born on July 10, 1939 in Springfield, Illinois to the late Lemuel and Cecile (Biscontine) DeWitt. Throughout her life, she had resided in Hillsboro, Pleasant Plains, and Springfield, Illinois. On July 21, 1956, Yvonne married Mr. Russell Lash and together they raised seven children, before he preceded her in death. Mrs. Lash enjoyed spending quality time with her family, watching television, sewing, painting, and wallpapering.

     Mrs. Lash is survived by her seven children, Brenda Hughes of Fountain, Colorado, Russell (wife, Pat) Lash of Hillsboro, Illinois, Tony (wife, Lisa) Lash of Meridian, Idaho, Sandra (husband, Frank) Johnson of Springfield, Illinois, Yvonne (husband, Brian) Boyd of Athens, Illinois, Steve (wife, Sheri) Lash of Bloomington, Illinois, and Randolph (wife, Kim) Lash of Pawnee, Illinois; fourteen grandchildren, Jeremy (wife, Sara) Owens, Russell (wife, Betsy) Lash, Carla (husband, Patrick) Rezmovits, Jennifer (husband, Tony) Marcolini, Allison (husband, John) Covington, Chris (wife, Stephanie) Johnson, Chad (fiancé, Kayla) Lash, Tiffany (husband, Alex) Malcomb, Brittany (husband, Kyle) Shore, Cody Johnson, Zachary (wife, Markell) Lash, Alyssa (husband, Derek) Coppinger, Adam Boyd, and Lilly Lash; nineteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Annette Hodge and Albert DeWitt of Springfield, Illinois. She is preceded by her parents, husband, grandson Aron Owens, Son-in-Law Robert Hughes, and siblings Cecile Pace, Alfred DeWitt, Maryann Vicari, and Janet Davis.
