Wilma L (Schievenin) Boyd

Wilma L. (Schievenin) Boyd, 96, of Schram City, IL passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 9:00 p.m. at Life Care Center of Bridgeton in Bridgeton, MO. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday March 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.  Burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL. Father Jim Gahan will officiate.

Mrs. Boyd was born on February 1, 1925 in Witt, IL to the late John & Elizabeth (Rodeghier) Schievenin. She was a 1942 Graduate of Witt High School in Witt, IL. Mrs. Boyd married Theodore C. Boyd on December 26, 1944 in Greenville, IL; he preceded on August 30, 1997. She was a garment worker for the Hillsboro and Litchfield Dress Factory until she retired in 1987. Mrs. Boyd was a member of the Garment Workers Union Local #394; as well as the Schram City Baptist Church in Schram City, IL. She loved her animals, and enjoyed spending time with them. Mrs. Boyd had lived in Witt, IL and spent most of her adult life in Schram City, IL.

Mrs. Boyd is survived by her children, Norma Gahan of St. Ann, MO and Ron Boyd of Hillsboro, IL; three grandchildren, Lisa (husband, Andre) White of St. Louis, MO, Michael (wife, Laura) Lynch of Altamonte Springs, FL, and Diane Eoff of St. Charles, MO; three great-grandchildren, Neil White, Erena Frabizio, and Joseph Scarsdale. Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her son Robert Boyd in 1988.
