Tony Lee Dyer

Tony Lee Dyer, 53, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 5:01 p.m., at his residence.  Cremation rites will be accorded.  A celebration of life with burial in Olive Hill Cemetery, will be held at a later date.

Mr. Dyer was born on May 26, 1969, in Carlinville, IL, to the late Earl & Geraldine (Pocklington) Dyer.  He married Shelly Thacker, on October 11, 2012, at Grace Fellowship Church in Fillmore, IL and she survives in Coffeen, IL.  He worked as a laborer for Labor Local #1084 in Hillsboro, IL and had worked laying floors.  He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Fillmore, IL and Labor Local #1084 in Hillsboro, IL.  Mr. Dyer had lived in Palmyra, IL, Carlinville, IL and Coffeen, IL during his lifetime.

Mr. Dyer is survived by his wife Shelly Dyer of Coffeen, IL; Children, Isaiah (wife, Carissa) Wright, Megan (husband, Ryan) Holland, Tiffanie Thacker & Moriah Thacker; twelve grandchildren and brother, Earl J. (wife, Linda) Dyer of Springfield, IL.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandchild, and two brothers, Harvey Dyer and Bub Dyer.
