Therasa Ann (Hamby) Kirby

Therasa Ann (Hamby) Kirby, 58, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021, at 5:06 p.m., at Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro, IL. A Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Private Family Services will be held at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL, will officiate. Burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL. 

Mrs. Kirby was born on July 5, 1962 to the late Clarence “Junior” and Nancy (Gurule) Hamby.  She provided child care in her home and worked at the Regional Office of Education #3, Hillsboro, IL. She loved spending time with her husband Eddie, her family, and her grandchildren. Mrs. Kirby lived in Hillsboro, IL her entire life.  She married Eddie Kirby and he survives in Hillsboro, IL.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kirby is survived by her three children, Brandon (wife Kylie) Kirby of Taylor Springs, IL, Nathan (wife Kendra) Kirby of Hillsboro, IL, and Ryan Kirby (companion Rachel Puckett) of Hillsboro, IL; four grandchildren, Briley, Gracelynn, Aislee, and Brooklyn; and siblings, Randy (wife Betsy) Hamby of Witt, IL, Sarah Hamby of Springfield, IL, Duke (wife Dottie) Hamby of Hillsboro, IL, and Lisa (husband Jim) Holliday of Taylor Springs, IL. Along with her parents, Mrs. Kirby was preceded in death by her brothers Arthur Ray Duran and Steven Duran, both in infancy.
