Tena Lynn Schmidt

Tena Lynn Schmidt, 60, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 12:06 a.m. at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL. Visitation will be held Monday, July 19, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at World Harvest Church, Hillsboro, IL. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at World Harvest Church, Hillsboro, IL.  Cremation rites were accorded. Reverend Kenny Vallelonga, Pastor of World Harvest Church, will officiate.

Mrs. Schmidt was born on July 25, 1960, in Hillsboro, IL, to the late Tom Bourke and Ruby Milligan. She attended Hillsboro High School and worked as a CNA and Activity Director at Heritage Health in Litchfield, IL, and at Aperion Health in Litchfield, IL.  She married the late Michael Schmidt. Mrs. Schmidt was a member of World Harvest Church in Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Schmidt is survived by her children Diana (husband Aaron) Logan of Hillsboro, IL, and Kimberly (husband Jason) Wilson of Litchfield, IL; eight grandchildren; Isaac Schmidt, Bryson Schmidt, Deanna Logan, Colin Logan, Michael Foster, Jordan Foster, Brayden Foster, and J.J. Wilson; and her siblings; Sandy (husband Charles) Jeffers of Hillsboro, IL, Tammy Bourke (companion Chris Kean) of Litchfield, IL, Theresa (husband Randy) Boerckel of Litchfield, IL, Pete (wife Mitsue) Smith of Oklahoma, and Jim Schmidt.
