Shelby Jean Mudd

Shelby Jean Mudd, 80, of Hillsboro, IL formerly of Springfield, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 4:50 a.m. at her residence in Hillsboro, IL. Cremation Rites were accorded and no services are planned at this time.

Ms. Mudd was born on December 29, 1940 to the late Thomas Mudd and Thelma (Ruyle) Mudd. She was a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Art Education. Ms. Mudd went on to earn a Master’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois. Ms. Mudd had lived in Springfield, IL and Hillsboro, IL during her lifetime.

Ms. Mudd was preceded in death by her father Thomas Mudd, and her mother Thelma (Ruyle) Mudd.
