Ronald B Watson

Ronald B. Watson, 71, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs, IL. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL. Rev. Randy Sands and Rev. Leland Redfern will officiate. Cremation rites were accorded.

Mr. Watson was born on February 22, 1951 in Hillsboro, IL to the late Ralph and Rosetta Eileen (Lang) Watson. He was a 1969 graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL and he was a factory worker for Midwest Zinc and Work Saver. He married Connie Redfern on December 24, 1970 in Hillsboro, IL; she survives in Hillsboro, IL. He lived in the Hillsboro area his entire life and he was a member of the Local 1084, Labor Hall.

In addition to his wife, Connie, Mr. Watson is survived by his son, Dustin (wife Joann) Watson of Hillsboro, IL; four grandsons, Matthew Watson, Tyler Watson, Thomas Watson, and Kaden Watson; his sister, Media Criswell of Elkville, IL; and his brother, Leroy Watson of Charleston, IL.

Memorials may be given to the American Kidney Foundation.
