Roberto Garcia

Roberto Garcia, 78, of Hillsboro, Illinois passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 12:28 a.m. at Memorial Health in Springfield, Illinois. Visitation for Mr. Garcia will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m, at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Illinois. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro, Illinois; Father Daniel Willenborg will be officiating.

Mr. Garcia was born on November 26, 1945 in Jalisco, Mexico to the late Carlota and Natividad Garcia. During his lifetime, he has lived in Jalisco, Mexico and Hillsboro, Illinois. After high school, he continued on to be the owner of a liquor store. Roberto married Maria Torres Blanco Garcia, and she survives.

Roberto is survived by his seven children; Roberto Garcia, Mario Garcia, Carlos Garcia, Lupita Garcia, Marco Garcia, Sandra Garcia, and Eddie Garcia; brothers, Reuben Garcia and Alfonso Garcia; and fourteen grandchildren. He is preceded by his parents, Ramon Garcia, Refugia Garcia, Beniano Garcia, Manuel Garcia, and Ignacia Garcia.
