Roberta Kay (Naylor) Wright

Roberta Kay (Naylor) Wright, 76, of Fillmore, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at 7:08 a.m. at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.  Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Woodside Church, Irving, IL.  Cremation rites were accorded.

Mrs. Wright was born on December 30, 1944 in Muncie, IN to the late Ivan Walter and Uva (Bennett) Naylor.  She earned an Associate’s Degree and worked as an LPN at a long-term care facility.  She married Virgil M. Wright on October 17, 1965 at Woodside Church, Irving, IL and he preceded her on September 1, 2020.  She lived in Fillmore, IL area her entire life.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her children, Cassaundra (husband Lynn) Laurent, Kerri (husband Bill) Wilson, Lori (husband Tom) Lindsay, Virgil Wright, Jr., and April Wright; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Wright, and two sisters, Patti Bainter and Wanda Van Matre.
