Pelma H. Ferjancic, 98, of Walshville, IL passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at 6:20 p.m., at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, private services will be held. Rev. Ben Fiore, Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Olive, IL, will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Ferjancic was born January 19, 1922, in Hillsboro, IL, to the late Welby & Leeta (Bost) Hicks. She was a High School Graduate. She married Edward Joseph Ferjancic, on June 7, 1942, in St. Charles, MO. He preceded on March 18, 1996. Mrs. Ferjancic was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Olive, IL; Eastern Star and ATA Ladies Auxilary. She also enjoyed square dancing, sewing and traveling.
Mrs. Ferjancic was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Welby Edward Ferjancic who preceded on March 31, 2013.
Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Olive, IL or Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.
