Paul A. Mueller, Jr., age 56, of Hillsboro, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 10:43 p.m., at Hillsboro Health in Hillsboro, Illinois. A private burial has been arranged at Wares Grove Cemetery in Rural, Butler, Illinois and a Celebration of Life for Mr. Mueller will be held at a later date.
On September 10, 1968, Paul A. Mueller Jr. was born in Joliet, Illinois to the late Paul A. Mueller Sr. and Natalie Jo (Huffman) Mueller. Paul graduated from Lockport Township High School in Lockport, Illinois and pursued a career at Hayes Abrasives in Hillsboro, Illinois, where he dedicated 25 years to being a Machine Operator. Throughout his life, Paul had resided in Joliet, Illinois, Trenton, Illinois, and Hillsboro, Illinois. Mr. Mueller was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Schram City, Illinois; he enjoyed gardening and expressing his inner artistic side whenever he had a chance, throwing a good game of horseshoes and anything rock-n-roll. Paul was an avid Led Zeppelin fan and if he was ever near a radio, you could count on K-SHE 95 being played. He was very proud to let anyone know that during his lifetime, he had attended 84 concerts. Paul married Marie “Missy” Stewart on September 9, 2011 and they were happily married for seven years before her death on December 12, 2018.
Paul is survived by his children, Nathan A. (wife, Mariah) Mueller of Pana, Illinois and Genevieve K. Mueller of Hillsboro; step children, Anthony Stewart and Hope Stewart; two step-grandchildren; brothers, Edgar (wife, Shawnda) Mueller of Springfield, Illinois and Raymond (wife, Lynn) Mueller of Greenville, Illinois; aunts Janice Albright and Carla Huffman; uncles Frank Huffman, David Huffman, and James Huffman; and his two beloved cats, Jo and Fin.
