Paul E. White, 95, of Coffeen, IL passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 4:09 a.m., at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Cremation rites were accorded and no services are planned at this time.
Mr. White was born on September 30, 1926, in Hardinville, IL, to the late Oscar and Leafy (Houston) White. He was a graduate of Robinson High School in Robinson, IL and had served in the United States Navy during WWII. Mr. White married Peggy L. Duncan on March 12, 1945 in Robinson, IL; she survives in Coffeen, IL. He had retired after working 37 years with CIPS in Coffeen, IL. Mr. White enjoyed time with his family and old cars, especially classic Ford automobiles. He had lived in Robinson, IL and then Coffeen, IL most of his adult life.
Along with his wife, Peggy White, Mr. White is survived by his children, Rex E. (wife, Sandra) White of Klamath Falls, OR; Gary W. (wife, Pamela) White of Benld, IL; Randy P. (wife, Barbara) White of Fillmore, IL; twelve grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, as well as his brothers and sisters, Edward (wife, Pat) White of Robinson, IL; Hugh (wife, Celeste) White of Annapolis, IL; and Louise (husband, Donald) Williamson of Robinson, IL and Sister-In-Law, Doris L. Harrison of Robinson, IL. Mr. White was preceded by his parents, Oscar and Leafy (Houston) White; and his siblings, Donald White and Erma White, and Brother-in-Law: Harold Harrison.
