Patricia Ann (Ellis) Morgan

Patricia Ann Morgan, 69, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 4:30 a.m. at her residence. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Hillsboro, IL. The Very Rev. James L. Neuman V.F. and Deacon Leland Johns, of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Hillsboro, IL, will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Agnes Cemetery, Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Morgan was born on April 10, 1951 in Mattoon, IL to the late Robert and Agnes “Pat” (Bergfeld) Ellis. She was a graduate of Vandalia High School, Vandalia, IL and went on to graduate Forrest Park Community College X-Ray Technician Program through Deaconess Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Mrs. Morgan was an X-Ray Technician at Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro, IL and Dr. Roger McFarlin’s Medical Office, Hillsboro, IL. She married Donald Morgan on September 18, 1971, at Mother of Dolors Catholic Church, Vandalia, IL and he survives in Hillsboro, IL. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Hillsboro, IL; loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, gardening, golfing and boating on the lake. Mrs. Morgan had lived in Vandalia, IL; Galesburg, IL; Mattoon, IL and Hillsboro, IL during her lifetime.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Morgan is survived by her children, Donald (wife Robin) Morgan, Jr. of Litchfield, IL and Jennifer (husband Drew) Peterson of Hillsboro, IL; five grandchildren, Mattison Morgan, Devan Morgan, Jordan Morgan, Emily Peterson and Kendall Peterson; siblings, Connie Aikman of Wyomissing, PA; Robert (wife Bonnie) Ellis, Jr. of Mt. Carmel, IL and John (wife Peg) Ellis of Salem, IL.

Memorials may be given to Stamp Out Cancer thru Montgomery County Cancer Association.
