Michael 'Mylo' Holden

Michael ‘Mylo’ Holden, 70, of Witt, Illinois, passed away on July 10, 2025, at 9:32pm., in the Hillsboro Health Hospital, Hillsboro, Illinois.

Mike was born on December 14, 1954, in Litchfield, Illinois, the son of Leonard and Leeta (Reener) Holden. He married Jeanne Lynn Jones in Montgomery County, Illinois on October 1, 1994 and they were married for over 30 years.

He lived his whole life in the Montgomery County area and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1973. He then, for 15 years, worked at the Hillsboro Glass factory.

He was a quiet and unassuming person who liked to fish, hunt, and listen to his friends tell wild tales and stories of fishing, hunting, and mushroom finding. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan, as well as the Raiders fan and loved rock music – especially, classic rock.

Preceding Mike in death are his parents, Leonard & Grace Holden and Bob and Leeta Crawford, brother, Stephen Holden, sister, Shelia DeWitt, father-in-law, William Jones, and nephew, Matthew Jones.

Surviving Mike are his wife, Jeanne Holden of Witt; daughter, Michelle (Bret) Reeves of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Allison (Brendan) Reeves-Orf of Wentzville, Missouri and Nathan Reeves of Hillsboro; mother-in-law, Sue Jones of Coffeen; brother & sisters-in law, Steve (Jackie) Jones of Taylor Springs, Deanne Jones of Hillsboro, Sherrie White of Coffeen, Julie Jones of Coffeen, Lisa (John) Casterline of Fillmore; and many nieces and nephews.
