Michael Kent Dobrinic

Michael Kent Dobrinic, 80, of Taylor Springs, IL., passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 4:32 p.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, IL. Cremation Rites were accorded and no services are planned at this time.             

Mr. Dobrinic was born on April 14, 1940 to the late Charles Joseph and Betty (Sammons) Dobrinic. He was a 1958 graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL. Mr. Dobrinic married Barbara Rhoads on July 12, 1962 in Springfield, IL and she survives in Taylor Springs, IL. Mr. Dobrinic was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He had worked as a computer tech for Pana Hillsboro Insurance Company; he had worked at Coffeen Coal Mine in Coffeen, IL., Freeman Coal Mine in Farmersville, IL., and Hartford Refinery in Hartford, IL. He loved his family and spending time with them. He also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Mr. Dobrinic had lived in Taylor Springs, IL his entire life.

Mr. Dobrinic is survived by his wife, Barbara Dobrinic of Taylor Springs, IL; his son, Bryan Dobrinic of Taylor Springs, IL; Three Grandchildren, Matthew, Taylor, and Breona; Siblings, David (wife Kathryn) Dobrinic of Hillsboro, IL and Barbara Jean Funderburk of Springfield, IL; and Step-Father, Rex White of Hillsboro, IL. Mr. Dobrinic was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Joseph and Betty (Sammons) Dobrinic White, as well as his son Bradley Michael Dobrinic.
