Martha G. Richmond, 90, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on January 20, 2023 at 1:56 a.m. at Montgomery Nursing & Rehabilitation in Hillsboro, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Mark Noyes of Hillsboro, IL will officiate. Burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.

Ms. Richmond was born on March 5, 1932 in Waynesboro, Tennessee to the late E.R. Davis & Ethel W.     (Williams) Davis. Ms. Richmond had worked as a waitress. She married Carroll J. “C.J.” Richmond on December 7, 1957 in Hillsboro, IL; he preceded in death on September 24, 2010. Ms. Richmond was born in Tennessee and lived in the Hillsboro area most of her life.

Ms. Richmond is survived by her children, Rebecca Ann (LeRoy) Hartel of Schram City, IL; Lonnie Dane Morgan of Butler, IL; Judy DeLane (husband, Charlie) Goad of Hillsboro, IL; Terry Lee (wife, Tammy) Richmond of Hillsboro, IL; Betsy Jane (husband, Don) Murphy of Springfield, IL; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and sixteen great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.R. Davis & Ethel W. (Williams) Davis, her husband, Carrol J. “C.J.” Richmond, two daughters, Peggy Sue (Morgan) Joyce and Laura Kay (Richmond) Moler, and one sister.
