Marjorie Sue “Susie” Boston, 75, of Irving, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 1:50 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at Hillsboro Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL. Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Hillsboro Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL. Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Hillsboro Free Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.
Mrs. Boston was born on March 30, 1947 in Nokomis, IL to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Kieslar) Zupanci. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL. She married Paul Robert Kelly who preceded her in death in 1990; she later married Joe Boston who survives her in Irving, IL. Mrs. Boston retired from Beckemeyer Elementary School where she worked in the cafeteria. When living in Minnesota she had been a school bus driver and had worked in a bakery. Mrs. Boston was a member of the Hillsboro Free Methodist Church.
Along with her husband, Joe Boston of Irving, IL, Mrs. Boston is survived by her children, Wendy Kelly (Husband, Alan) Moore of Macon, Brian James (wife, Cheryl) Kelly of Florida, Joe (wife, Leslie) Boston II of Hillsboro and Paula (husband, Dan) Blain of Iowa. Grandchildren, Sarah Smysor Brown, Skylar Smysor, Kaylee Kelly, Brock Boston, Zach Boston, Samantha Blain and Cody Blain. Great Grandchildren, Tianna Smysor, Elijah Brown, Mahalea Brown, and Maylin Smysor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy (Kieslar) Zupanci, her daughters, Julie Green and Lisa Ann Boston, and her brother, Allen Zupanci.
