Born February 27, 1963, in Decatur, Illinois to Larry Francis Golladay, Sr. and Carol Irene (Copples) Golladay, Larry spent his youth in Hillsboro, graduating from the local high school in 1981. A dedicated and hardworking man, Larry spent his entire career with Bridgestone/Firestone, even relocating to Tennessee for his job and retiring in September 2024.
He was a simple guy who found joy in the little things—never passing up a good deal while shopping and always ready to fire up the grill for some legendary BBQ. Larry was a true family man who bent over backwards for the people he loved. He loved the outdoors, whether it was riding his Harley, fishing, four-wheeler riding, boating, or tending to his garden. Most of all, he loved having fun and making memories with the people who meant the most to him.
Preceding Larry are his parents, Larry and Carol; and his son, Larry Golladay, III.
He is survived by his wife. Martha Carcamo-Pineda of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; his daughter, Erika (Alex) Spinner, Hillsboro, Illinois; grandchildren, Hayden King, Ethan Waldier, Elise Rufus and Larry Golladay, IV; siblings, Laurie (Kelly) Jessop of Americus, Georgia and Mark Golladay of Lebanon, Tennessee; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
