Kyle Louis Lyn Burnett

Kyle Louis Lyn Burnett, 34, of Taylorville, IL passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL. Rev. James Hayes, Pastor of St. James Baptist Church in Hillsboro, IL will officiate. Cremation rites were accorded and burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.

Mr. Burnett was born on September 22, 1987 in Hillsboro, IL to the late Richard “Dick” Charles and Linda Sue (Boerckel) Burnett. He was a 2006 graduate of Hillsboro High School and worked as a band saw operator at an assembly plant in Taylorville, IL. He lived in Hillsboro, IL; Nokomis, IL; and Taylorville, IL during his life. He loved to fish, go for bike rides, and being outdoors. He was an animal lover. Mr. Burnett was a tissue and organ donor to give life to many others.

Mr. Burnett is survived by his brother, Michael Dean Burnett of Hillsboro, IL.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Burnett is preceded by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Dorothy Boerckel, and his paternal grandparents, Merrell and Anna May Burnett.
