Kelley Gene Durbin

Kelley Gene Durbin, age 70, of Springfield, IL, formerly of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on February 1, 2020, at his residence. Cremation rites were accorded and no services are planned at this time.  

Kelley was born on October 18, 1949 in Hillsboro, IL to the late Murel and Irene (Lipe) Durbin. He had worked at Laclede Steel in Alton, IL, and also at Goodwill in Springfield IL. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL. He was in the Army Reserves and he loved to help people.  

Mr. Durbin is survived by two brothers, Gary (wife Sherry) Durbin of Burnsville, NC, Barkley Durbin of Springfield, IL; two sisters, Brenda (husband Robb) Schwartz of Hillsboro, IL and Cathy (husband Shawn) Cady of Witt, IL.  His brother, John Durbin, preceded in death.
