Jimmy Lee Lohman

Jimmy Lee Lohman, 84, of Hillsboro, IL passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 10:30 p.m. at Montgomery Nursing & Rehab in Taylor Springs, IL. Cremation rites were accorded and there are no services planned at this time.

 He was born June 4, 1939 to Orville & Margery (George) Lohman in Bond County, IL. He graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1957 and attended some college. Jim lived in Bond and Montgomery counties most of his life, except the 4 years he spent in the U.S. Air Force. He married Sharon Ward and they later divorced. He worked at Gleichman Plumbing in 1956, after the Air Force he became a licensed plumber in 1966 and opened his own plumbing business in 1968. He was a member of Waveland Church, 4H, FFA, Plumbers Local 139 of Springfield, IL, and the Antique Tractors Association.

Jim is survived by his children, Troy Lohman of Butler, IL, Trent (wife, Nikki) Lohman of Nokomis, IL, and Trisha Lohman of Breese, IL; six grandchildren,  Cody Lohman, Brock Lohman, Trevor Lohman, Tekla Lohman, Taylor Lohman, and Reece Lohman; siblings, Bill Lohman of Shelbyville, IN, Susan (husband, Dan) Small of Tennessee, and Kenny (wife, Kim) Lohman of Hillsboro, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Todd Lohman, sisters Sandra Lohman and Beverly Webb, and sister-in-law Claudia Lohman.
