Jimmie Dean Hayes

Jimmie Dean Hayes, 57, of Witt, IL, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020, at 6:05 p.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, IL.  Cremation rites were accorded.  No services are planned at this time.

Mr. Hayes was born on March 3, 1963, in Springfield, IL, to Dewey C. Hayes and Florence B. (Altevogt) Stevenson.  His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Nokomis, IL.  He married Robin L. (Todd) McFarlin on, January 4, 2003, in Witt, IL.  She survives in Witt, IL.  He was a self-employed carpenter and lived in the Nokomis, IL and Witt, IL area most of his life.  He loved his pets and he rescued dogs and found new homes for them.

Mr. Hayes is survived by his mother, Florence B. Stevenson of Nokomis, IL; wife, Robin L. Hayes of Witt, IL; his children, Brandon Todd of Hillsboro, IL and Ryan Sneddon of Gibson City, IL; five grandchildren; and siblings, Barb (husband, Olin) Clayton, Vera (husband, Tim) Durston, Carol (husband, Tom) Brown, Sandra (husband, Drury) Emerson, Jr., David Hayes, Brenda (husband, Bob) Mehlberg and three brothers-in-law, Daniel (wife, Tammy Martin) Oakley, Sr., William (wife, Patricia) Oakley and Mark (wife, Audrey) Todd.  Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his father, Dewey C. Hayes and one granddaughter.
