Janet Elaine (Miller) Hoff

Janet Elaine (Miller) Hoff of Hillsboro IL, aged 68, passed away, against her wishes, on December 26, 2020 in St. John's hospital. 

Janet was born in Warrenton ,VA on April 24, 1952 to Jeanette (Grove) and James C. Miller.  She grew up on the family dairy farm in Virginia.  Janet attended and graduated from Fauquier County High School in 1970.  

She married Thomas Henry "Hank" Hoff on July 21, 1973.  Janet retired from Ameren after 20+ years of service.  She was an avid reader and loved to visit the beach.  She appreciated a good joke and adored Snoopy.

She is survived by her sister Kay Miller of Bealeton, VA. Janet is also survived by her daughters and their spouses and their children: Melissa and Michael Marty, children Alexa and Olivia.  Elaine and Ron Smith, children Tyler and Devan.  Amanda Hoff and Saeed Darabi.  Janet was preceded in death by both parents and her brother, Donald, and her husband, Hank.  

Due to the ongoing pandemic arrangements will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Hillsboro Public Library
