Jammie Elizabeth Hobbs, 62, of Springfield, IL, formerly of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 5:42 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Cremation rites were accorded and no services are planned at this time.
Ms. Hobbs was born on August 24, 1959 in Hillsboro, IL to the late James and Freda Marie (Weller) Kieslar. Ms. Hobbs was a graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL. She had worked as an EMT for Hillsboro Ambulance, and was a Nurse’s Aide at Hillsboro Area Hospital. Ms. Hobbs married John Hobbs on September 29, 1998 in Springfield, IL and he preceded in 2013. She was a member of the Eagles Club in Litchfield, IL and enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family, she loved to go to concerts and on family vacations. Ms. Hobbs had lived in Hillsboro, IL and Springfield, IL during her lifetime.
Ms. Hobbs is survived by her sister, Vanessa Light of Sorento, IL; niece and nephew, Nathan Light and Nancy Light; as well as many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. She was preceded by her parents, James and Freda Marie (Weller) Kieslar; and her husband, John Hobbs.
