James Kenneth Jewell

James K. Jewell, 48, of Irving, IL passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, at 10:45 a.m., at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.  Cremation rites were accorded and no services are planned at this time.

Mr. Jewell was born May 21, 1973, in Hillsboro, IL, to the late Benjamin E. & Judy A. (Kamm) Jewell.  He attended Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL and had worked as a farm hand.  He had lived in the Hillsboro, IL area his entire life.

Mr. Jewell is survived by three brothers, Benjamin J. (wife, Kathy) Jewell of Romeoville, IL; Jeffrey O. (wife, Jill) Jewell of Vandalia, IL and Thomas H. Jewell (companion, Kristey Connolly) of Auburn, IL.
