James B. Henry, 74, of Edwardsville, IL passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020, at Caseyville Nursing and Rehab in Caseyville, IL. A graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at 2:30 p.m., at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL, will officiate.
Mr. Henry was born on March 2, 1945, in Alton, IL, to the late David & Ruth (Huelskamp) Henry. He was a graduate of Edwardsville High School in Edwardsville, IL and had worked construction as a laborer. He had married Mary Matlock and they later divorced. Mr. Henry was a member of the Moose Club in Edwardsville, IL and Edwardsville Gun Club in Edwardsville, IL. He had lived in Edwardsville, IL area his entire life.
Mr. Henry is survived by one son, David Henry of Edwardsville, IL; two daughters, Diane (husband, Ben) Beeler of Hillsboro, IL, Janet Long (husband, Gordan, III) Irwin, Lexington NC; two grandchildren, Adam (wife, Meagan) Beeler of Hamel, IL & Brooke (husband, Nathan) Lynch of Hillsboro, IL; three great grandchildren, Emersyn Beeler, Matthew Beeler & Karsyn Lynch; one sister, Marilyn Stoces of Chesterfield, MO and one aunt, Claire Ramsey of Edwardsville, IL. Along with his parents, Mr. Henry was preceded in death by one brother David "Mick" Henry.
