Jaben W. Compton, 39, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 8:50 p.m., at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Cremation rites were accorded and no services are planned at this time.

Jaben was born September 10, 1981, in Hillsboro, IL, to William K. “Dillo” and Debra (Dalzotto) Compton. He was a 2000 Graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL. He had worked as a Union Commercial Painter. Jaben loved the outdoors and had lived in Hillsboro area his entire life.

Jaben is survived by his mother, Debra Compton of Hillsboro, IL; three children, Jaben Shoal, Alexis and Savanah, one sister, Anley Compton of Hillsboro, IL and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, William K. "Dillo" Compton and maternal grandparents, Felix & Marsha Dalzotto.
