Gregory Dean Jones, 67 of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 10:27 p.m. in Creve Coeur, MO. Cremation Rites were accorded. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Mark Noyes of Hillsboro, IL will officiate. Burial will take place at Cress Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.

Mr. Jones was born on June 24, 1955 in Hillsboro, IL to the late Oliver D. Jones and Marilyn (Noyes) Jones. He graduated Edwardsville High School in Edwardsville, IL. Mr. Jones worked for the State of Illinois at the DMV Secretary of State’s Office. He married Connie (Vollintine) Buscher on March 17^th, 1990 at First Baptist Church in Hillsboro, IL and she survives in Hillsboro, IL. Mr. Jones was a member of Hillsboro Moose Lodge; He enjoyed playing Golden Tee and Pool, he loved spending time with friends and Family, and he loved his dogs, Chauncey & Fang. Mr. Jones had lived in Hillsboro, IL; Springfield, IL; and Troy, IL during his lifetime.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Connie Jones of Hillsboro, IL; his children, Aaron Todd (wife, Stacie) Pratt of Ft. Meyers, FL; Aaron (wife, Tiffany) Buscher of Conifer, CO; and Kacey (Husband, Andy) Becker of Bethalto, IL; grandchildren, Ashlea Davison, Patrick Pratt, Nicole Hayden, Andrew Hayden, Hayden Buscher, Colton Buscher, Clayton Buscher; and brother Brian Jones of Loami, IL; as well as several cousins. He was preceded by his parents Oliver D. Jones and Marilyn (Noyes) Jones; and his brother Ricky Jones in 2019.
