Geneva Arlene (Rouse) Casey

Geneva Arlene (Rouse) Casey, 75, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Donnellson Cemetery in Donnellson, IL. Friends and Family may meet at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL from 9:15 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. to process to the cemetery. Rev. James Hayes, Pastor of St. James Baptist Church in Hillsboro, IL will officiate. Burial will take place at Donnellson Cemetery in Donnellson, IL.

Ms. Casey was born on November 9, 1946 in St. Louis, MO to the late John Rouse and Velma Mae (Sutton) Rouse Smith. She had attended Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL. Ms. Casey had worked as a bartender at Bob’s Tap in Hillsboro, IL. She married Gordon “Butch” Casey Sr. and they later divorced. Ms. Casey had lived in Donnellson, IL her entire life.

Ms. Casey is survived by her children, Gordon “Butch” Casey Jr. of Raymond, IL and Gary Huddlestun of Raymond, IL and her sisters, Lilly Saathoff of Schram City, IL and Evelyn (husband, Kessler) Pier of Schram City, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Rouse and Velma Mae (Sutton) Rouse Smith, and her brothers, Charles Olis Rouse and John Rouse.
