Gail Sandra Langston

Gail Sandra Langston, 69, of Coffeen, Illinois passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 7:03 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois. Cremation rites were accorded and Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Irving Cemetery in Irving, Illinois.  

Mrs. Langston was born on July 30, 1955 to the late Drexel and Norma (Hedger) Malloy in Hillsboro, Illinois. She attended Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, Illinois and was employed at Hillsboro Area Hospital as a housekeeper. On May 31, 1973, Gail married the love of her life, Billy Langston, in Coffeen, Illinois and he preceded her in death on March 13, 2024. She was a member of the Women’s Aux VFW and loved to play bingo. Most importantly, Gail thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family.

Gail is survived by her two daughters, Heather (husband, Todd) Claxon of Taylor Springs, Illinois and Billie (husband, Harold) Havron of Hillsboro, Illinois; four grandchildren, Dustin (wife, Clarissa) Claxon, Ethan Roach, Jared Claxon, and Garrett Havron; two great-grandchildren, Avian Claxon and Drake Claxon; one sister, Marsha Ellsworth; and six brothers, Gary, Terry, Kenny, Rickey, Randy, and Brian Malloy. She is preceded by her parents, husband, and four sisters, Vicki Schuster, Brenda Malloy, Donna Malloy, and Debra Malloy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to American Heart Association or PAWS Care.
