Franklin Dale Simonton

Frank D. Simonton, 58, of Fillmore, IL passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, at 12:57 a.m., at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.  Cremation rites were accorded and no services are planned at this time.

Mr. Simonton was born on April 30, 1963, in Havre, Montana, to Franklin Delano & Phyllis Jeanette (Anderson) Simonton.  He had worked at Route 16 Grain cooperative in Fillmore, IL and had lived in Coffeen, IL; Taylorville, IL and Fillmore, IL.  Mr. Simonton loved to fish, ride motorcycles, boating and working on trucks.  He also loved all kinds of animals. 

Mr. Simonton is survived by his mother, Phyllis Simonton of Fillmore, IL, one son, Zachary Ryan (wife, Jennifer) Simonton of Nokomis, IL; four grandchildren, Shelby Simonton, Chase Simonton, Joshua Simonton & Zachary Simonton and one sister, Wendy Simonton of Sullivan, IL.  He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Delano Simonton on October 13, 2001.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hopsital.
