Eric W. Northcutt, 54, of Sorento, IL, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 4:20 a.m. at his residence. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Pastor Matt Ferguson, of the Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, IL, will officiate. Cremation rites were accorded.
Mr. Northcutt was born on May 10, 1967 in St. Louis, MO to Jerry Northcutt, who preceded in 2008, and Marie (Stevens) Palmer who survives along with Eric’s step-father, Troy Palmer, in Wentzville, MO. Mr. Northcutt attended Litchfield High School in Litchfield, IL. He had worked in administration at Thomas Construction in Earth City, MO. He loved music and playing guitar, and also enjoyed building model airplanes and working with remote control airplanes. He liked riding dirt bikes, and he loved his family. Mr. Northcutt had lived in Litchfield, IL and Sorento, IL during his lifetime.
Along with his mother, Marie (Stevens) Palmer who survives along with his step-father, Troy Palmer in Wentzville, MO, Mr. Northcutt is survived by his children, Matthew Northcutt of Carlinville, IL; Tricia (husband, Matt) Smith of Nokomis, IL Tiffany Northcutt of Litchfield, IL; and Skyler Young-Northcutt of Florida; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; as well as his brother and sister, Mark Davis of Mt. Olive, IL and Ann (husband, Bill) Estes of Litchfield, IL. Mr. Northcutt was preceded by his father, Jerry Northcutt in 2008.
