Obituary

Elizabeth Rose Chesser, 52, of Taylor Springs, IL passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 at 8:45 a.m. at her residence. Cremation rites were accorded and a memorial will be planned for a later date.

She was born July 23, 1971 in Joliet, IL to Melvin L. & Lynn C. (Overturf) Talbert, her father preceded and her mother survives in West Plains, MO. She was a High school graduate and earned her Cosmetology degree. She married Gregory Chesser and they later divorced. During her life she lived in Sorento, Panama, and Taylor Springs all in Illinois, Elizabeth worked in retail sales in the convenience store industry. She was a member of the Baptist faith, loved spending time with grandchildren, and giving and receiving gifts. She was a sweet and loyal friend to many.

She is survived by her mother, Lynn C. Talbert; children, Andrea (husband, Randy) Harrell of Taylor Springs, IL, Ben Chesser of Panama, IL; five grandchildren, Dawson Guinn, Lennon Guinn, Jayda Chesser, Mila Harrell & Mac Harrell; brother,  Melvin L. (wife, Deborah) Talbert of  Billings, MO; sister, Joan Marie Talbert of West Plains, MO, and grandmother, Hilda Rose Eubanks of West Plains, MO. She is preceded by her father and daughter, Angela Talbert.
