Denise L Brown

Denise L. Brown, 66, of Litchfield, Illinois passed away on September 10, 2024 at 11:35 a.m. at Hillsboro Rehab and Healthcare Center. Cremation rites for Denise are being accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Walton Memorial Park, main pavilion, located in Litchfield, Illinois.

Mrs. Brown was born on August 10, 1958 in Litchfield, Illinois to the late Mary Werner. She was a 1976 graduate of Litchfield High School and remained a Litchfield resident her entire life. She worked as a Postal Clerk and also worked part-time at The Journal News in Hillsboro. She married William Brown on September 21, 1984 in Litchfield, Illinois.  Mrs. Brown was a member of the Union Ave Christian Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, William; son, Macintyre (wife, Veronica) Brown of Springfield, Illinois; granddaughter, Finley Clayborn; sister, Leigh Werner of Hillsboro, Illinois; three nephews, Cole (wife, Kelsey) Werner, Garrett Werner, and Bill Brown; one niece, Dani Simmons. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Werner.

Memorials are suggested to the Arthritis Foundation.
