Darrell Eugene Durbin

Darrell Eugene Durbin, 72, of Coffeen, IL passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 7:58 a.m. at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen, IL. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen, IL. Father Daniel Willenborg, Pastor of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro, IL will officiate. Burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery in Coffeen, IL.

Mr. Durbin was born on May 28, 1950 in Mulberry Grove, IL to the late Clarence & Evelyn (Laughrey) Durbin. Mr. Durbin was of the Catholic faith. He loved fishing and being outdoors as well as spending time with family. Mr. Durbin enjoyed junking and scraping metal and had worked as a security guard. He married Diane Roe on March 10, 1969 at St. Louis Catholic Church of Nokomis, IL; she preceded him in death. Mr. Durbin had lived in the Coffeen Area his entire life.

Mr. Durbin is survived by his children, Evelyn (husband, Roger) Cooper of Coffeen, IL; Darrell E. Durbin Jr. (fiancé, Imelda Garcia); Diane (fiancé, Jack Rogers) Schultze of Coffeen, IL; grandchildren, Amanda Parrish, Daniel Parrish, Kenzie Almendariz, Skylar Eddington, Haiven Durbin, Tyler Sackett ; six great grandchildren; and siblings, Karen Frazier, Diane, Audrey Coggins, and David Durbin. He was preceded by his parents Clarence & Evelyn (Laughrey) Durbin; and his wife, Diane Durbin.
