Dalton Kane Finley, 25, of Nokomis, IL passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at his residence. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. The family has requested that those attending wear Tie-Dye or Grateful Dead T-Shirts or casual attire. A private family funeral service will take place, and burial will be at Ohlman Cemetery in Ohlman, IL. Rev. Adam Hahs will officiate.
Dalton was born on July 10, 1995 in Creve Coeur, MO to Brad Finley of Nokomis, IL and Crystal (Campbell) Snoddy of Hillsboro, IL. He was a 2013 Graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL and attended Lincoln Land Community College. He worked as a laborer at R&J Grand Services, a Hemp Plant in Pocahontas, IL. He loved fishing and riding four-wheelers. Dalton loved his kids and his family; and was very thankful for them. He never left without telling each member of his family how much he loved and appreciated them. Dalton had lived in Hillsboro, IL and Nokomis, IL during his lifetime.
Dalton is survived by his parents, Brad Finley of Nokomis, IL and Crystal (husband, Ronald) Snoddy of Hillsboro, IL; his three children, Alabama Finley, Portlyn Finley, and Folsom Finley; grandparents, Mark “Moe” & Kim Finley of Nokomis, IL and Richard & Alice Campbell of Sorento, IL; great-grandparents, Dorothy Crow of Nokomis, IL and Grant & Jackie Finley of Nokomis, IL; siblings, Jordyn Finley of Salem, IL and Kenna Snoddy of Hillsboro, IL; special aunt, Christina (husband, Ed) Willeford of Sorento, IL; nephew, Braxton Finley; as well as many cousins. Dalton was preceeded in death by his grandparents, Bud & Marilyn Snoddy and his great-grandfather, Jerry Crow.
