Charles Otto Trader

Charles Otto Trader, 69, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 12:32 a.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, IL. Private family services will be held at a late date. Mr. Trader was born January 18, 1954 in Decatur, IL, to Charles R. and Mona (Richter) Trader, who have both preceded him in death.

Mr. Trader graduated high school and went on to obtain a technical degree in Diesel Mechanics. Charles married Theresa “Terry” McMahon at St. John’s Church in Champaign, IL, she survives in Hillsboro, IL. He worked as a truck driver and a Semi Repairman in Butler, IL; and was also in the U.S. Army During the Vietnam Era.

He is survived by his wife and preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
