Carolyn "Kay" (Simmons) Grill

Carolyn "Kay" Grill, 82, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at 3:15 p.m. at her residence.  Cremation rites were accorded and no services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Grill was born April 18, 1938, in Litchfield, IL, to the late   Fred & Helen (Koonce) Simmons.  She is a graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL and had worked at Security Savings and Loan.  She married Harold Grill, on February 14, 1959, in Hillsboro, IL and he preceded in death on April 17, 2016.  Mrs. Grill loved to bowl and had bowled on many teams and in many tournaments.  

Mrs.Grill is survived by one daughter, Laura Burritt of Irving, IL; one son, Kevin Michael Grill of Carbondale, IL; five grandchildren, Amy Golden, Amber Golden, Andrew Golden, Sam Golden & Vincent J. Burritt; three great grandchildren, Enciin Golden, Azairah Golden & Seryn Golden and two sisters, Patti Pence of Litchfield, IL and Connie Watkins of New Berlin, IL.  Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Vincent B. Burritt and one sister, Geraldine Hancock.
