Carolyn Bee (Gipson) Doyen

Carolyn Bee (Gipson) Doyen, 73, of Fillmore, IL passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 8:15 a.m. at her residence. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen, IL. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen, IL. Rev. Myron Kirk, Pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in Fillmore, IL and Danny White of Coffeen, IL will be officiating.

Ms. Doyen was born on November 11, 1948 in Pana, IL to the late John William and Goldie Mabel (Miller) Gipson. She was a housewife and a Caregiver for people in their homes. She married David Doyen on May 29, 1964 in Hillsboro, IL; he survives in Fillmore, IL. She lived in Pana, IL; Coffeen, IL; and Fillmore, IL during her life. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Fillmore, IL and she loved looking for rocks along the creek.

Ms. Doyen is survived by her husband, David; her children, Goldie (husband Rob) Brown of Watson, IL; Kathy (husband Bryan) Runge of Ramsey, IL; David W. (wife Jennifer) Doyen of Nokomis, IL; and Missy (husband Dave) Marley of Fillmore, IL; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and her siblings, Doyle Gipson, Dale Gipson, Nadine Carlock, and Mary Askenette.

Ms. Doyen is preceded by her parents, two sisters, and one brother at birth.
