Brenda Homa, 64, of Witt, IL passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 12:19 p.m., at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Cremation rites were accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Homa was born May 17, 1957, in Pana, IL, to the late Harold Lester and Wilma (Bolte) Darnell. She attended Witt High School, Class of 1975, in Witt, IL. Brenda married Joe Eddington and they later divorced, she then married Lenny Homa, on September 11, 1994. Lenny survives in Witt, IL. Brenda was owner and operator of The Corner Pub in Witt, IL until retiring in 2019. She grew up in Ohlman, IL and then lived in Witt, IL area for her entire adult life. Brenda loved cooking, traveling, fishing, camping and spending time with her grandchildren. She was loved by all she ever met.
Mrs. Homa is survived by her husband, Lenny G. Homa of Witt, IL; daughters, April (husband, Josh) Hadowsky of Pana, IL; Amber (husband, Dave) Collier of Odin, IL; Abby (husband, Joe) Bugg of Witt, IL and Andrienne Homa of Taylor Springs, IL; grandchildren, Jaden Hadowsky, Jenna Hadowsky, Joslyn Hadowsky, Aubrie Patkus, Makenna Compagni, Jonah Collier, Alaina Bugg, Alyvia Bugg, Blain Gunderson, Eryka Gunderson, Jaylen Gunderson, Justice Green, Gianna Newton, Breanna (husband, Robert) Grant, Valerie Collier and Dylan Collier and siblings, Roger Darnell of Witt, IL; Linda (husband, Alan) Kottwitz of Nokomis, IL; Patty (husband, Greg) Meyers of Witt, IL and Toni (husband, Shannon) Durbin of Witt, IL. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Daryn Homa and one brother, Kenneth L. Darnell.
