Benjamin David “Ben” Leible, 25, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 4:12 p.m. at his residence in Hillsboro, IL. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Hillsboro First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, IL. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillsboro Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, IL. Rev. Matt Ferguson Pastor of Hillsboro First Presbyterian Church, Rev. Randy Sands Pastor of Hillsboro Free Methodist Church, Rev. CJ Dyas of Hillsboro Free Methodist Church, and Ruthie McCario, Director of Celebrate Recovery will officiate. Burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.

Ben was born on February 25, 1997 in Springfield, IL to Mark & Kim (Kutemeier) Leible who survive in Hillsboro, IL. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL, Class of 2015; he also attended SIUE in Edwardsville, IL. Ben was a member of Hillsboro Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, IL; Celebrate Recovery at the Hillsboro Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL; He also worked with Cross Over Ministry. Ben loved all sports, anything that included a ball and he also loved to fish and be outdoors. He had worked for Amazon and McDonald’s. Ben lived in Hillsboro, IL his entire life.

Along with his parents, Mark & Kim (Kutemeier) Leible of Hillsboro, IL, Ben is also survived by his brother and sister, Andrew Leible and Cate Leible; paternal grandparents, George & Reonna Leible of Hillsboro, IL; maternal grandparents, Donald & Brenda Edwards of Hillsboro, IL and Roger & Janet Kutemeier of Litchfield, IL; aunts and uncles, Andrea (husband, Alan) Pretnar of Taylor Springs, IL; Ron (wife, Julie) Leible of St. Louis, MO; Jamie (husband, Bryce) Dee of Iowa; Rod (wife, Amy) Kutemeier of Winter Garden, FL; Cliff (wife, Amy) Edwards of Springfield, IL; Wade Edwards of Hillsboro, IL and Lea Ann (husband, Brian) Talley of Hillsboro, IL and Special Great Uncle & Aunt, Jim & Char Modla of Hillsboro, IL; and cousins, Valarie Kutemeier, Sabrina Kutemeier, Nick Pretnar, Maria Goad, Clara Dee, A.J. Dee, Chandler Talley, Anna Talley, Vaughn Edwards, Eden Edwards, Tom Edwards and Allison Maass.

Memorials may be given to Celebrate Recovery in care of Hillsboro Free Methodist Church; Hillsboro Presbyterian Church or Cross Over Ministry.
