Barbara Mae Wright

Barbara Mae Wright, 71, of Witt, IL, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Officiants will be Stephen Wright and Pastor Randy White of Open Arms Fellowship Church in Irving, IL.

Barbara Wright was born on October 18, 1949, in Hillsboro, IL, to the late Leonard and Rosella (Fogle) Pryor. She received a Master’s degree in Business from Purdue University. She lived in Montgomery County most of her life. She married Stephen Michael Wright on May 8, 2010, at Union Church in Butler, IL. He survives in Witt, IL. She was a member of Union Church in Butler, IL, and Open Arms Fellowship in Irving, IL, and she loved to sing in church.

In addition to her husband, Stephen, Mrs. Wright is survived by her children, Tammy Mae Lawson of Butler, IL, Rex Allen McClanahan of Hillsboro, IL, and Rebecca Rose Deal of Litchfield, IL; step-daughters, Stephanie Dilly of Hillsboro, IL, and Stacie Klein of Athens, IL; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Betty Davidson of Witt, IL.  Along with her parents, Mrs. Wright is procceded in death by her parents and one brother.
