Arthur "Dave" David Baugher

Arthur David "Dave" Baugher, 83, of HIllsboro, IL passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at 3:35 a.m., at Montgomery Nursing & Rehab in Taylor Springs, IL.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private family graveside funeral services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.  Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL, will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.  

Mr. Baugher was born September 30, 1936, in Irving, IL, to the late Arthur Ewen & Thelma Georgia (Stokes) Baugher.  He is a veteran of the US Navy, where he served as an Electrician Mate on the USS Intrepid.  Mr. Baugher married Sharon Green and they later divorced.  He then married Beverly (Bondurant) Price, on June 5, 1971, at the United Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL and she survives in Hillsboro, IL.  He is retired from Granite City Steel in Granite City, IL.  Mr. Baugher was a lifetime member of the Moose Club #1377 in Hillsboro, IL, he coached and was very active in Baseball when his sons played, he loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren. Mr. Baugher had lived in Edwardsville, IL from 1963 to 1969 and Hillsboro, IL.

Mr. Baugher is survived by his wife, Beverly Baugher of Hillsboro,IL; four children, Toby (wife, Jennifer) Baugher of Litchfield, IL; Chris (wife, Mika) Baugher of Litchfield, IL; Robert Baugher of Naples, FL & Vicky Bond of Naples, FL; one step son, Todd Price of Hillsboro, IL; five grandchildren, Anna Baugher, Ryan Baugher, Owen Baugher, Peyton Baugher and Caitlin Bond; seven step grandchildren, Kiry Aumann, Kimber Price, Kassie Price, Brandi Descamps, Heather Self, Tyler Rosemeyer and Clinton Rosemeyer; eleven great grandchildren; siblings, Joe (wife, Mary) Baugher of Schram City, IL and Marty Giberson of Shelbyville, IL.  Along with his parents, he was proceeded in death by one step daughter, Jill Price Loftin and siblings, Vada Bandy, Wilma Maxine Baugher, George A. Baugher and Betty L. Funk.
