Arlene M. Trost

Arlene M. Trost, 85, of HIllsboro, IL passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, IL.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.  Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro, IL.  Father Daniel Willenborg, Pastor of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro, IL, will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.  

Mrs. Trost was born on July 2, 1934 to the late John and Sadie (Palider) Pustelniak.  She was a graduate of Chicago Catholic High School in Chicago, IL.  She married Raymon Trost, on February 8, 1958, at St. Joseph and St. Anne Catholic Church  in Chicago, IL.  He survives in Hillsboro, IL.  Mrs. Trost had lived in Chicago, IL until moving to Hillsboro, IL in 1974.  She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro, IL, where she was a member of the Alter Rosary Society; Lioness Club in Hillsboro, IL and she was a Cookie Chair for the Girl Scouts.  She also loved to do craft work and spending time with her family. 

Along with her husband, Mrs. Trost is survived by four children, Diane (husband, Ed) Roman of Rockford, IL; Raymon (wife, Helen) Trost of Litchfield, IL; Candi (husband, Mike) Ellington of Donnellson, IL & Geoff (wife, Tammy) Trost of Hillsboro, IL; eight grandchildren, Phyllis, John Paul, Eddie, Christy, Raymon, Elizabeth, David & Kayla and four great grandchildren.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
